Why choose XP60A GPS?

The GSM is the ideal option for recovery, monitoring and continuous tracking of fleets. The XP60A solution communicates with the GSM base station via SMS or GPRS packets (in this case is as if it were connected directly to the internet and send data to your PC as if on an intranet).
Furthermore the product XP60A GSM has a highly competitive cost, and has the best design and stability in its GPRS link. While other systems need to be reset periodically, the XP60A GSM automatically disconnects and is always checking its GPRS connection so that it achieves the highest possible stability, which translates into the maximum confidence in the GPRS link.
This ensures simplicity, reliability in its wireless link, a much lower monthly cost for a system that is "always online" with the ability to report their position without having to generate calls or be plugging and unplugging, and also a much lower cost per message. Unlike other systems, the XP60A can work with two modalities, SMS and GPRS. Both are configurable and selectable by software through a quick and easy process.

The unit is fully programmable wirelessly (100% remote programming), and it also allows you to configure automatic position reporting for time and distance to achieve maximum effectivity and optimize the flow of information and therefore, minimize costs.
Many countries already have good GSM coverage and have begun to establish monitoring centers based on XP60A. However there are still many countries in the Americas that do not have enough GSM coverage to locate and stop a vehicle across the country.
In several countries AMPS, CDMA or TDMA cell phones are no longer being activated despite they have coverage. Also, you can not locate with the AMPS system more than one vehicle at a time per PC. Since it is a system based on calls to locate the vehicles, it must make the calls one by one in sequence, thus is not an ideal system to track vehicle fleets in real time. With regard to systems based purely on data transmission from satellites (ORBCOMM, INMARSAT, etc.) these have the disadvantage of a high cost per message, as well as the size of the equipment and antennas and their cost as well.
In most cases the choice of GSM is the most cost-effective solution, because of its increasing coverage on an ongoing basis and because it allows a variety of options for fleet tracking with a very low monthly cost.
