HunterPro is one of the largest B2B Complete Solution Provider for the Americas,
Africa and Asia, and is able to provide a secure, cellular based, GPS based,
for a complete and accurate AVL realtime tracking application. We're experts
in vehicle recovery with companies along the Americas very satisfied with our
products and loyal to our company.
The main reason for this success is the accurate balance between pricing, stability,
ease of use and quality. All components of the system has been carefully selected
and integrated in a seamless solution.
If you are you interested in running your own AVL business then HunterPro is
the answer. The AVL business offers a good income with a high initial investment.
If the initial investment is low then the income will be low too. In this case
as our prices are very cost effective, and our products are stable. A main difference
from other products where you have to reset them manually because they freeze.
Anyway we don't want you to believe without testing, so order your evaluation
kit and find out how stable, fast, precise and small is our vehicle unit.
Other than selling a product, we're selling a business to make your own use of
the product. This change in concept has increased sales worldwide.
Our products have very good recovery rates since they're not based in radio /
telemetry for location. Rather than that they are based in the most widely available
cellular networks and on the precise and real GPS signal. While other solutions
can't offer a more accurate location than 200-500 meters, we offer less than
10 meters precision on a daily basis, and realtime tracking on demand - with
a delay of less than one second to obtain position once polled (in GPRS).
We offer an excellent recovery ratio and range of operation (often nationwide
and with the use of roaming it will cover even several countries/states). You
won't pay a monthly fee because is a turnkey solution, a difference which makes
HunterPro GPS the correct option to establish your own AVL business or your personal
base station.

If the vehicle has a car alarm, and it was activated previously, the fact
that there is a door open event, or glass break, or even shock sensor will
trigger the alarm. Let's assume the alarm's siren output is connected to one
of the GPS intputs for event. The GPS unit will detect the event and deliver
an SMS to the base station. Base Station will receive report of robbery through
the correct input, and will display pop up window on screen and location at
that exact moment of time. This will take 3 seconds (as long as the SMS itself)
upon door open.
If the vehicle doesn't have a car alarm, it will be unable to differentiate when
the door is open by the car owner or by the theft. But it will still be able
to detect shock sensor, or glass break sensor. But without a car alarm you've
probably less chance to detect a robbery than with it, but car alarms are nowadays
very inexpensive and provide remote control and additional functionality for
the GPS unit, such as the one you mentioned.
There is a possibility to use the internal alarm of the GPS unit, but this will
require the Base Station (Call Center) to send an SMS to the unit eveytime after
the user leaves the car at night, and before the user gets into the car on the
morning, which is unpractical.
The fact that the thief doesn't notice at all that there is a car alarm or a
GPS unit present is desirable, so the system should let the thieve stole the
car, and a hundred of meters after that the operator at the Call Center will
stop the fuel pump remotely, thus the car thief will have to rush from the site,
before police officers or private safety guards arrives.
This method is really good compared to just blocking the engine right after the
thief open the door. Because this action will make him seek and disable the security
device(s) in order to be able to steal the car.
In the other situation he won't even notice nothing is going on and will be focused
on driving the car after what he believes was a "succesfull robbery". I would
also do not install any flashing LED to indicate presence of car alarm, or any
other device at all.
The GPS system consists in several satellites orbiting the Earth.
These satellites can provide a signal to the HunterPro GPS (hidden inside the
vehicle), which will process that signal using complex geometrical projections
in order to obtain the position of the vehicle (latitude and longitude), real-time
speed, altitude, quality of the position, time, date and other data. All GPS
receivers used in the market have a precision of 20 meters in the position
obtained.
This position can then be sent to the Base Station using one or more wireless
protocols (for example: sending a message (SMS) in a GSM cellular network). And
with the use of a secure protocol the Base Station can then interact with the
vehicle and for example: kill the starter/ignition/engine in case of robbery,
detect Panic button pressed, etc.
So if you want to know WHERE and HOW are your customer's vehicles or even your
own vehicles, you will need a GPS. And because a GPS receiver alone won't be
of any use remotely (and the same applies to a GPS handheld), you will need all
the hardware and software which is able to give the maximum out of it, and will
provide the user with a friendly environment and 24/7 customer support.
From your PC with the XP-GPS software provided. Just by pressing the Connect button once you have everything configured, and waiting for the icon of the vehicle to appear centered of the map of your country/city.
:: Do I have to subscribe to a monthly service or is it a one-time fee?No, it is a one-time fee. You only have to pay cellular billing costs for each vehicle unit monthly, as with any other AVL unit.
:: I want to charge my customers a monthly fee of $20 for example. In several countries our company has been deployed solution providers.
They charge a monthly fee of 20-30 dollars for providing Automatic Vehicle Location
within their Call Central and 24/7 Customer Care.
Let me tell you that business is good if you get a low cellular fee by negotiating
with the cellular carrier, and in the other hand if you have a plan of reaching
at least 2000 pcs. within 2 years it will be a profitable business.
This business is a financial business, based on having lots of customers paying
a monthly fee, although there is an initial investment for you or for your company,
the revenues are very high and you can take and keep a slice of the market.
But I recommend that you charge 20 dollars per month. So once you reach the 2000
customer barrier:
2000 x 25 dollars = 50,000 (let's suppose you spend 10,000 in infrastructure,
personal and cellular lines cost: you win 40,000 dollars per month).
You will have a very profitable business (aroung 480,000 dollars per year).
Reaching the 2000 barrier is difficult and requires financial support for the
initial investment, but it is a great opportunity to enter the AVL business seriously
and before other companies do the same.
I should say NO, but the truth is that no system in the world is '100% safe'. Anyway we've thought in many conditions were the HP-GPS should protect you better: if you install a backup battery and the thief disconnects the main battery source, the system will call you immediately and notify "Event Z". The only way a thief can stole a car is to be able to place it inside a container, where there is no GPS signal or cellular/satellite coverage whatsoever. No system in the world can prevent this, except if you install a shock sensor on our HP-GPS unit, which will notify whenever a shock is detected in your car, or you may add a glass break sensor as well. Altogether with a good car alarm, could be evasive enough to prevent the robbery. You can add a gas device which will scare the subject (but this could be you or someone from your family), a microwave sensor, etc, etc. You must think about a system which is safe enough for preventing the robbery and at the same time being able to track your car in case of robbery so you would call the police and be able to tell them where exactly your car is located in real-time.
:: Would it work anywhere? As long as there is cellular coverage, if you live in the US you will have an excellent national coverage as well as in other countries (such as Canada an Mexico) where the AMPS system is still in use. Many countries in the world are now supporting GSM, but you must find out with major cellular carriers.
:: How fast could it relay information to me? (via email or real-time?)Real-time, in AMPS it will take longer for the call to be made (10-15 seconds).
Once connection is established you will have a 1 per second refresh in real-time.
In GSM its almost instantly (2-5 seconds) because it uses the SMS gateway.
Messages are very small so they're transmitted quite fast.
We have partners in Argentina, Ecuador and Mexico where many of them charge
an initial "connection" fee of $120. Then they charge a monthly fee of $30
for each unit. The vehicle unit remain a property of the company in some cases,
in other they sell them altogether with an annual contract of service.
This will give you earnings in just 6 months as soon as you install very fast
all the units. Lets say you purchase 500 pcs at $ 280 / each:
This is an example of an annual investment related to this business:
1st month: 280 x 500 = -$ 140,000 (Purchase of vehicle units).
2nd month: 120 x 250 = +$ 30,000 (Initial connection of 500 pcs 1/2).
3rd month: 120 x 250 = +$ 30,000 (Initial connection of 500 pcs 2/2).
30 x 250 = +$ 7,500 (monthly fee for 250 pcs).
4th month: 30 x 500 = +$ 15,000 (monthly fee for 500 pcs).
5th month: 30 x 500 = +$ 15,000 (monthly fee for 500 pcs).
6th month: 30 x 500 = +$ 15,000 (monthly fee for 500 pcs).
. . .
12th month: 30 x 500 = +$ 15,000 (monthly fee for 500 pcs).
The more vehicle units you buy, the more money you will invest, but the more
revenues you will have in the future in your AVL business.
Imagine the income when you purchase 500 pcs. annually for 5 years:
1st year: $ 47,500 (you have 500 customers).
2nd year: $ 227,500 (you have 1000 customers).
3rd year: $ 407,500 (you have 1500 customers).
4th year: $ 587,500 (you have 2000 customers).
and so on...
This offers a great potential as you may see. We don't charge anything of your
customers' monthly fee. Our business is to sell vehicle units, your business:
to buy, install and rent them for a monthly fee providing AVL services. Although
all of this requires an initial investment, the revenues are very high compared
to other businesses in these days.
HunterPro GPS units needs an enabled cellular service to operate correctly.
So the first step will be to negotiate a price with your preferred cellular carrier
(if possible choose the one which has the best coverage in your country) telling
him the cellular protocol of the HunterPro GPS units and the quantity. Tell
him that those cellular lines will be used ONLY to send and receive data. If
your units are GSM based, the process is much simpler: you have to obtain as
many SIM cards as you need.
Once the units are enabled, you have to install them hidden inside the vehicles.
Installation is a very simple process which involves the connection of the GPS
antenna, cellular antenna (if necessary), and GROUND. The GPS antenna should
be hidden too, but keep in mind the system won't operate correctly if you install
the antenna under metal surfaces/objects because the signals sent out from the
satellites are very weak.
If you need a Panic button, you can use the X Input and connect a tact switch
to it properly. The process is similar to a car alarm installation, but much
easier.
The user will only have to be able to click a button on the GUI (for instance: "Connect")
and he/she will be to see the real-time state of its vehicles remotely. So the
learning curve is very suitable for first time users in this kind of applications.
The next step will
be to create your customers database using HunterPro
XP-GPS.
Run the application, press the Edit button located
at the left window, and then you can add, modify
or delete existing customers. The PIN number should
always be "012345" unless specified by us directly.
And the cellular number should be the number of
the cellular transceiver inside the unit which
have been assigned by your carrier.
Once everything is configured correctly (shouldn't
be more difficult than this), select the customer
you wish to poll using the arrow-buttons at the
bottom of the left window, and then press the
"Connect" button at the bottom of the right window.
If everything is correct and both base station
and vehicle unit have service, the real-time state
of the vehicle will appear at the bottom of the
screen. Both location and heading will be shown
as an icon in the middle of the vector map, which
will be refreshed at a rate depending on the cellular
technology and the configuration of the remote
unit.
Several applications can then be thought for this
system. The most widely used is what is called
AVL which means Automatic Vehicle Location. But
with HP-GPS you can have additional feature: real-time
fleet monitoring, remote messaging to an LCD (XP-GPS),
virtual geographic fencing or "geofence" (XP-GPS),
remote hearing and conversation (HP-GPS AMPS),
automatic fleet dispatch, remote download of the
route followed by the unit in the last 48 hours,
etc.
All complex tasks which make all of this solutions
possible are done in the background by the XP-GPS.
And because we're an open company we offer research
and development services (with an additional cost)
for adding extra functionality or embedding your
own ideas into the XP-GPS software.
The only condition
for becoming a reseller is to purchase 100 pcs.
You will be provided with all the information
necessary to setup your base station fully. Unlimited
email support is provided at no cost.
If you need an exclusive contract for your country,
the condition is a minimum purchase of 500-5000
pcs. annually (depending on the country).
Find out the best cellular coverage available
in your city/country (AMPS, CDPD, CDMA, GSM or
TDMA). You can find the correct quotation for
the cellular network of your choice below.
Maps are not included and can be purchased directly
from us as we're a strategic partner of a GIS
corporation which has lots of maps and availability.
The Base Station is free with your order providing:
latest release of XP-GPS software, Cellular/Landline
interface, plus all the necessary to setup your
Base Station accurately.
Although our software supports several map formats, we STRONGLY recommend
TAB maps from MapInfo or from an authorized reseller.
We don't do conversions from other maps into TAB
since this can lead to several errors (missing
coordinates, wrong/missing street labels, etc).
100% supported map format is "TAB Map prepared
for MapX". So you must ask for a Geoset File (.GST)
prepared for your map for the fastest redrawing
times, with "Autolabels ON" in each layer which
contains relevant info so its labels are shown
automatically (e.g. street layers).
This is necessary in order for each layer to display
correctly, with correct colors, correct layer
order, and producing a fast map redraw on each
refresh.
AVLS:
stands for Automatic Vehicle Location System.
AFMS: stands for Automatic Fleet Monitoring
System.
We are upgrading the software with new features
to aid in the Automatic Fleet Monitoring System,
which are included to help operators in real life
situation: real-time alarm conditions are now
shown in a list. User can sort them and process
each one, having a complete control of all the
units which had an alarm, no matter how much events
at the same time occurred. User is now able to
work on each vehicle unit until it resolves the
security state of each one.
Keep in mind you can make us suggestions on what
you would like to have in the software for your
R&D project, and they will be added with a
cost depending on complexity and time.
It is a hi-tech GPS
system which supports an easy to integrate ASCII
protocol, and is remotely programmable in a user-friendly
protocol.
You can command it easily from HyperTerminal for
example, or you can integrate this product into
your application. The command specification used
is TAIP-like, being 100 % TAIP compliant in some
cases.
As you may see in our website, we've added LCD
support to our units, and released the XP60 GPS
with more features than its predecessor the HP60.
Remote messaging is now available, and the user
now have remote confirmation buttons for dispatch.
Also, a virtual geographic fence (which we call
GeoFence) can be added so the when vehicle enters
or leave the pre-programmed zone it will report
it to the base station.
Both HP60 and XP60
are intended for Automatic Vehicle Location, Fleet
Management, or Remote Dispatch. This products
can be installed in trucks, cars, vans, or any
vehicles with power available. For 24VDC vehicles
please instruct us first. Stand alone battery
can be added externally so if the main battery
power is lost for any reason (unauthorized maintenance
or robbery) the vehicle unit can report this to
the base station along with the position of the
vehicle and real-time events information.
HP60 and XP60 products are very similar and provides
practically the same functionality. You should
buy XP60 only if you would like to integrate our
hardware into your software, or if you need GeoFence,
an LCD display, or a dispatch solution.
The HP60 is an excellent product, cost-effective,
rock-solid firmware, very responsive, and very
easy to use. All of this to provide a fast service,
secure and accurate AVL solution into your existing
business.

HunterPro develops and exports GPS/AVL units to all the world.
There is only one HP-GPS Professional in the market ready for vehicle tracking, fleet management and dispatch; vehicle tracking system for high stability,
GPS vehicle tracking receiver integrated with GSM modem with wireless transmission via SMS or GPRS, with an optional external antenna with high sensitivity for countries with problems of coverage and great unevenness on its surface.
With the highest quality, stability and better algorithm for GPRS reconnection, the solution GPS / AVL / GSM is available today and is not based on RF (radio frequency) radio triangulation, but in GPS and GSM / SMS / GPRS (based on the cellular network). While satellite solutions can be interfered and the required antenna
is fully visible and the service is expensive, our solution is based on GSM is effective, 100% concealed and with low monthly costs by using low rates of GPRS.
Ask about the features and benefits of our devices AVL / GSM: XP60A, CP60G and HP LOW.
